The San Marco Group, with its 7 production plants worldwide and 6 brands, is a leader in the paint and varnish segment for the professional building sector in Italy. The widespread presence of its Professional Application Centres (CAPs), specialised in products and services for professional users and the needs of private users, ensures its geographical coverage of Italy.
Outside Italy the San Marco Group is present in more than 40 countries throughout the world through specialised distributors. Thanks to a policy that aims increasingly at internationalisation and major, ongoing investments in both production and the Research & Development area, the Group's commercial and production organization is constantly expanding.
The two product lines Dettagli d'arte for the decoration of interiors and exteriors, and Tuttorestauro, high breathability mineral-based decoration products, are the result of maximum testing.
Able to recreate atmospheres of the past or atmospheres of innovative fashion, they come in a really vast range of colours, which can be obtained with precision thanks to the marcromie colour matching system.

The headquarters of the Group are situated in Marcon (Venice), in a strategic position in the north-east of the country, just a few miles away from cities such as Venice, Verona, Padua and Milan and the A4 (Milan-Venice) motorway that connects the Colorificio to the Italian and European motorway networks.
The area was purchased by Mrs. Tamburini in 1962 and covers approximately 40,000 sq. m. 20,000 sq. m. of the area is covered or laid out over several floors as per the latest green building concepts, and equipped with an experimental photovoltaic system in line with the company's sustainable development philosophy.
The headquarters house the group's centralised functions. This is the main plant for production of water-based products and the central warehouse for distribution throughout the world.

Die angebotene Produktpalette ist so breitgefächert, dass sie das gesamte Spektrum der vom Elektrogebiet gestellten Anforderungen deckt.
Die ausgereifte Technologie des Hausleitsystems By-me ermöglicht die Automatisierung des Wohnbereichs durch die integrierte Steuerung von Klima, Sicherheit, Komfort und gewährleistet außerdem Energieeinsparungen und Wohlgefühl. An die Hightech-Dienstleistungsbranche hat Vimar bei der Entwicklung des Systems Well-contact gedacht, das als spezifisches Gebäudeleitsystem dem Hotelgewerbe vorbehalten ist. Das System Netsafe wurde dagegen für universelle Gebäudeverkabelungen konzipiert.
Abdeckrahmen und Schalter in drei verschiedene Serien - mit zahlreichen Kombinationsvarianten untereinander hinsichtlich Design, Materialien und Schaltelementen - lassen sich Stand-Alone oder zusammen mit den Automatisierungssystemen verwenden, wodurch sich ebenfalls die allergrößten Vorteile in Bezug auf ästhetik und Funktionalität ergeben.
